Chiyoda to undertake study for CO2 capture project in Japan
Chiyoda Corporation, an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, has been awarded a feasibility study for CO2 capture and liquefaction plants by the Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. (J-Power) in Japan, it said on December 7.
J-Power is collaborating with ENEOS Corporation and JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation on a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project selected by the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC).
Chiyoda will collaborate with J-POWER by applying its CCS project experience to support their plans.
