European gas prices continue decline amid low temperature, low demand and high storage
The December contract at the Dutch TTF gas hub dipped again on November 9 by 6.6%, landing at €110.395/MWh ($1,176/'000 m3).
Since the spike in late August, days before Nord Stream 1 was closed down, and later rendered inoperable by suspected sabotage, gas prices have fallen as a result of unusually low temperatures, lower gas demand and relatively firm LNG demand.
The December contract spiked at €350/MWh on August 26, amid fears of Nord Stream 1's anticipated closure, and fears of older weather.
