Gazprom and GDF SUEZ to Study the Possibility of Expanding the Nord Stream
In the framework of the SPIEF-2013, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Alexander Medvedev and Deputy Chairman of the Board, Vice-President of the GDF SUEZ Jean-Francois Cirelli, have signed a document on the cooperation in studying the possibility of expanding the Nord Stream gas pipeline, the Russian company informs.
The Nord stream gas pipeline is a main gas pipeline, directly connecting Russia and Germany. Principal markets for the supply via Nord Stream are Germany, the UK, Netherlands, France, Denmark and other countries.
The pipeline consists of two lines, each with the length of 1,224 thousand kilometers and capacity of 27.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
Gazprom, Italian ENI agree to adjust gas prices for 2013
Gazprom and the Italian ENI have agreed on adjustment of gas prices for 2013.This came as a statement to journalists byhead of Gazprom Alexey Miller at the SPIEF-2013.
These terms are mutually acceptable to both sides, head of ENI, Paolo Scaroni has noted. Negotiations about prices for all contracts with ENI will be continued.
Gazprom voices division of disputed sector in the East Siberian Sea with Rosneft
Head of Gazprom Alexey Miller has disclosed the scheme of dividing with Rosneft the disputed area in the East Siberian Sea.
"Gazprom will receive the northeast second sector, Rosneft will get the first," he said to reporters on the sidelines of the SPIEF, when asked about specific sectors.
"We will implement the projects on the basis of our competence," Miller said, commenting on the format of cooperation with Rosneft.
