Hess Plans First Vertical Well in Paris Basin

Hess plans to spud their first vertical well in France’s Paris basin seeking shale oil during first quarter 2011.

Plans call for drilling six wells, both vertical and horizontal this year.  Hess is in partnership with Toreador Resources Corp.
