Inpex's Ruby Gas Field In Indonesia to Start production in 2013

INPEX Corporation has said the Ruby Gas Field in southern Makassar Strait, Indonesia will start production by the third quarter of 2013.

Meanwhile, the company is now conducting phase 1 and 2 of the development project in the Offshore South Mahakam Gas Fields.

Bisnis Indonesia has reported that the company is planning to start supplying LNG to the West Java LNG Terminal of PT Nusantara Regas, a joint venture between Pertamina and PGN in the second quarter of 2012.

Furthermore, INPEX Masela Ltd, one of the company’s subsidiaries in Indonesia, is now conducting preparations for development as the operator of the Abadi gas field in Masela Block of the Arafura Sea.
