Pakistan's OGDCL Strikes Gas at Khewari Block, Sindh

Pakistan's OGDCL has encountered gas at the Suleman-1 well in the Khewari Block, Sindh Province. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), as operator of the block has working interest  of 95% and Government Holdings (Pvt) Limited  has 5% interest.

The well was drilled to a depth of 4,575 metres to test the potential of the Lower Goru formation of Cretaceous age. The well flowed at a rate of 20 MMSCFD of gas through 32 / 64” choke and wellhead flowing pressure of 3,340 Psi.
