Petronet LNG Plans Dahej Terminal Expansion

Petronet LNG is mulling raising funds during the current year to expand the capacity of its Dahej LNG import terminal in Gujarat.

The company is planning to raise about $367 million by March to expand the terminal capacity to 15 million tons from 10 million tons by end of 2015.

The overall expansion cost would be covered by the fund raise and remaining with internal accruals.

The sdtate owned energy firm recently signed an agreement to build a 5 million tons a year import facility at Gangavaram port in Andhra Pradesh.
