Petronet to Build LNG Terminal In Andhra Pradesh

Petronet LNG plans to build a five million tonne a year LNG import terminal at Gangavaram port in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. .

With this new terminal, India’s largets LNG importer will have three terminals. This new project will likely be complete by 2016.

Petronet will supply imported gas to refineries, power and fertilizer plants.

Gas will be imported from countries like Australia to meet the growing energy demand in Andhra Pradesh and other eastern and central part of India.
