San Leon in Farm-Out Talks for Licences in Poland

Ireland-based San Leon Energy announced it is in talks to farm out licences in Poland.

‘Further to the announcement of 9 May 2014, the Company is pleased to confirm that it is currently in discussions with a further two potential partners in relation to a possible farm-in for the Permian/SW Carboniferous Basin of Poland and expects to make further announcements once these discussions have been finalised,’ reads a note released on Tuesday

According to its website, the Irish company holds 11 licences in the Carboniferous Basin and 7 in the Permian Basin, for a total of 2,735,494 net acres. 

Last March, San Leon clinched a farm-out agreement with Horizon. It also keeps a stable business relation with Wisent Oil and Gas, TransAtlantic Petroleum and Talisman Energy.
