Talisman, San Leon to Drill Gdańsk West Concession in September

Canadian major Talisman Energy and its partner, San Leon Energy, will start drilling for shale gas in September.

The company is scheduled to drill the Gdańsk West concession in September, Braniewo in October and Szczawo in December.

Talisman country manager, Tomasz Maj said that the firm has finished collecting seismic data on all three concessions and it is now analyzing the information, Puls Biznesu reports.

Nafta Pila, a unit of PGNiG, will drill three wells in potential shale deposits in the Baltic basin in northern Poland.
