Tarim Oilfield's output up 7% in Jan-Feb
The Tarim oilfield, one of China’s biggest upstream projects, produced 5.98mn metric tons of oil and gas equivalent in the first two months of 2022, up 6.8% year/year, its state-owned operator CNPC said on March 9.
The field is located in China's northwestern Xinjiang province. Since the beginning of 2021, a new production capacity of 922,000 mt of crude oil and 2.76bn m3 of natural gas has been built, CNPC said in December.
